Super Stars is a recreational club. At Super Stars through our coaching team and ethos we aspire to always build, a safe, fun and structured environment to promote confidence and well being in all our students and gymnasts.
Our club was founded in 2016 but our roots are a little older than that. We are part of the Super Stars family in Cork. Super Stars also has a stage school. Where over 900 students attend weekly classes in Cork City and County.
Why Gymnastics?

Gymnastics is the core sport in physical development. Gymnastics, as a sport, incorporates balance, flexibility, coordination, agility and strength. These physical attributes are what we look for to aid our children in all types of sport.
We encourage all children to participate in gymnastics for as long as possible. Whether you participate in gymnastics for one term or many years, this wonderful sport can help you develop both physically and mentally for the future.

Why Acro Dance?
For your little star!
It’s a style of dance that combines classical techniques with acrobatic elements. While all dance is physical, this form is particularly athletic and has unique choreography due to its use of acrobatics in a dance environment.
Acro dance classes offer a wide array of benefits, including increasing strength, flexibility, and coordination in students. All students in these classes perform with our stage in yearly shows. This class is offered in Kinsale, Ballincollig, Fermoy and Blackpool.

Why Gymnastics Floor
Sport
This class focus on fitness, flexibility and core strength. It does not use any barre but focus is on floor tricks and achievements. This class is offered in Kinsale, Fermoy and Blackpool.
Classes
Our program runs from September to August, with 12-week terms and 3 terms per year.
We offer trial classes for you to experience our program before committing.

Reach for the stars program
As our students are growing up and eager to learn more.
Students from age 12 can apply to become a shooting star, where they shadow a Super Stars coach in a class of their choice, learning and can gaining experience of teaching.
When they turn 16 they can do their first Gymnastics Ireland course to become a Super Stars Coach.

More About Us
Our Background & Philosophy
Super Stars Acro and gymnastics club is part of the Super Stars Stage School, which opened in 2010 under the direction of Kate Gaffney, the club expanded in 2016 due to the popularity of the school's Acro Dance Department expanding to register with Gymnastics Ireland. Since opening the club has grown from strength to strength, due to the committed coaches and support staff, and of course the Super Stars ethos, of bringing out the best in every child. We have a non competitive atmosphere where all children are treated equally. The club became a member of Gymnastics Ireland and is regulated by all their policies and procedures. Super Stars is committed to providing excellent and fun classes for children of all ages and abilities.
